Storytelling workshops

I run multimedia workshops so you can tell your own stories. I create programs that will make you comfortable with the technology and processes used in digital media production, so you can get on with the important part—finding your story and telling it well.

Capturing the best possible media will give you the best possible story so workshops are all designed to show you how to do that, using either sound, video or photography. I can create short one session programs that give you the basics or a series that will take you through the complete production process of your own story.

I will show you how to tell a story that takes people on a journey, using the technology available to you.

I have run multimedia storytelling programs across Australia. As the ABC Open Producer for the West Kimberley, I facilitated workshops in remote communities across the region. I have designed and delivered workshop series for the Asylum Seeker Resource Centre’s Advocacy and Power Program (in Sydney, Brisbane and Melbourne) and Screenworks (in Cairns). I provide media training in the Torres Strait—at Moa Arts and Torres Strait Media Association (on Thursday Island). I currently deliver editing training at CQUniversity in Cairns.
